Writing is a lonely business, for the most part, and this suits the introverts among us (yes, I would say I’m an introvert). But our desire to be alone and quiet sometimes doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy a social gathering or a great conversation with friends. I had never talked with Julie before, but after our conversation, I think we both feel that we know each other better, and would greet each other warmly if we met in person.
